Just bought a new DRIVE

Seagate 500gig harddrive. pretty sweet. but there are two folders in the drive already. a recycle folder and system volume information folder. the guy i bought it from told me he formated everythign off the drive. SO i dont know if these needa be on here. and how can I rename the drive it called it : Bonkers Boiiii : how strange.
